Sciendum today announced that it has achieved certification to the Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme.
Cyber Essentials is an Assurance Framework that enables organisations to prove to their customers, employees, partners and investors that they take cyber security seriously. To achieve cyber essentials an organisation has to provide a statement on the basic controls it takes to mitigate the risks from common Internet based threats. These threats are outlined in the Government’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security.
Sciendum has carried out a self-assessment and was awarded its certification by IASME, one of the Cyber Essentials accreditation bodies appointed by the UK Government, confirming that Sciendum complies with the IASME Information Security Standard.
